If YOU could create the music you wanted to hear, what would it sound like?

Remember back in the 60's and 70's when a new song came out on the radio? If you really liked the song, you couldn't get enough of it. Sometimes it was the music, sometimes it was the lyrics that realy hit home for you. Nowadays, you can listen to oldies stations, but you never get to hear anything newly created. Here's a chance to get that feeling again - new music in the style of the 60's and 70's.

Ron and Art have been making music since the 1960's. They wrote and recorded songs back in the 60's and 70’s then took a 35-year break while they raised families and pursued careers.

"Some day we'll get back into it". People who say things like that don't often actually do it, but in this case, it happened. Part of the reason is the development of equipment that even the pros couldn't have imagined back in the 1960's."

"Each song has its own personality. When we begin a recording, we often don't know what style of music it will end up being. It's a process of discovery. We try something, then listen to it for a while. When we come back to the studio, we know what the song wants to be"
"We write songs with which people can identify. For the listeners, for whatever reason, the song then becomes theirs."
"We make sure the lyrics can be understood because we put a lot of effort into what we say and there is usually a message"
"We're finishing up our second CD, but won't release it till each song is just the way we want it. We're trying out some different ideas with this one"
Ronart - "The name suggests that we are a band, but there are just two of us. In many ways, we truly are a band. We each play multiple instruments, and our recordings are done by layering one sound over another. One of our songs would require 8 people if we played it live."
