The Jefferson Mill tower is one of the prominent mill towers in the city. The old weight driven pendulum clock has been restored and signs that say "Jefferson" were added to the tower. The four clock faces are above us in this photo but the actual timekeeping mechanism is a few stories below. Time signals are rung on this bell.
