about manchester

There's an ongoing exhibit at Hatfield's called "ABOUT MANCHESTER". Photographer Ron Boucher created a collection of large photos, cityscapes and panoramic views of Manchester NH. The are now displayed throughout Manchester's buildings and offices.

Many are taken from the rooftops of Manchester's tall buildings as well as from Amoskeag millyard building rooftops and towers. This is an ongoing project and there are still new photos being added. Three of the panoramas include 100-year-old images accompanied by recent re-creations of the same view.

These photos are of landmark buildings and areas around Manchester. Some are old, some are modern. They are views that most people will never see

Each one is signed and numbered and will increase in value as the years pass. Old photos of cityscapes are highly prized by collectors.

These panoramas are best viewed when they are printed in large format. In fact, they were created to show a lot of detail. These are not small photos that are enlarged; they are huge to begin with. When you stand at a normal viewing distance and have to turn your head to take it all in, it's the closest thing to being there.
